A nurse who was charged with diverting drugs from a New Hampshire hospital has been acquitted on all four charges following a 12-hour deliberation by jurors in the case, who were unable to reach a verdict.
According to the prosecution, Kerry Bridges, a 47-year-old nurse was accused of stealing narcotic painkillers and forging doctor's orders. The decision for acquittal was reached on Monday.
Defense attorney, Jim Moir says there is no evidence that his client committed the crimes he was charged with.
The nurse, who was a traveling nurse from Warren, Maine worked at the facility in Concord for several weeks last year and was terminated when the hospital received word of the complaints.
Prosecutors haven't decided whether to pursue further legal action.
